MATE CARE (CALABASH MATE)
To take care of your calabash mate, start by curing it before first use. Fill it with used yerba and warm water and let it rest for about 24 hours. Repeat this process a couple of times until it’s ready to go.
When you drink, keep it in one position and don’t leave it soaking for too long after use. Just rinse it, dry it properly and let it air out before storing it.
